The Samsung N310 divides opinion. Some think it’s cutesy and colourful, others have slated its curved shell as looking like a Fisher Price netbook. Us? We’re quite taken with it. Samsung’s employed award winning designer Nato Fukasawa to smooth its edg...

Quirky and colourful styling. Solid design.

No optical drive. Quite pricey.

Looks and feels unique, but you’ll pay a little extra for the privilege...

Netbooks might have started off life as the ugly ducklings of the notebook world, but with prices soaring ever higher, fine design is becoming an increasingly crucial part of their makeup. Samsung certainly agrees, and its latest lays claim to "class-l...

This is yet another nice Netbook; it boots and shuts down quickly but still runs Windows XP. The finish is nice and all in all it is a rather nice unit that you could whip out of a smallish bag or case without having to grow extra muscles...

Overall, this is a good take on the near-standard netbook specification for mid-2009. Its a touch more stylish than some business models, but you pay up to £50 extra when going for the Samsung option. Performance is as good as most of the rest, but b...

Product Code: NP-N310-KA01UK The Samsung N310 is a stylish and far-from-subdued netbook thats shaped like a big rubber pebble. Its kind of hard not to start with the Samsung N310s case. The Samsung N310 - also known as the Samsung Go - is a littl...

The Samsung N310 has some nice touches, and its striking design will be popular with some. We liked it. But at heart the Samsung N310 is an average netbook, with a higher than average price. Darren Gladstone Lowest online price: ££310.49 Buy it...

Samsung has never been a supplier of cheap and cheerful netbooks, and the consumer-oriented N310, which expands the range beyond the more seriously styled NC10, NC20 and N120, still comes in with a suggested price of a pound under £400. For that, you’d...

The N310 is a machine you buy for its looks. The keyboard’s above average, the touchpad’s fine and the screen is bright and sharp. Its student-friendly design, while nice, just doesnt compensate for the chunky feel, undistinguished spec, poor...

Once upon a time Samsung had just one netbook, the NC10 . And it was good. In fact, it was the best. Now, however, clearly drunk on its success, Samsung has three different models. First there was the N110 : a relatively minor NC10 refresh. This was follo...

The N310 is yet another 10in widescreen netbook from Samsung, but its rounded edges, embossed Samsung logo and slightly rough textured case immediately set it apart from the other netbooks here. A wide range of differently coloured designs are avail...

So which netbook to choose with about 100 very similar models now out there? I am much inclined to follow the sage advice of my teenage goddaughter, Kitty Wordsworth, which she expounded at the funeral last year of her grandmother, the pioneering fashion...

Netbooks are cheap, wee machines designed primarily – as their name suggests – to surf the net and let users hammer out the occasional missive on their rather elfin keyboards and screens. In the space of just a couple of years they've quickly become th...

The nascent netbook sector has been characterised by a bunch of higher-end machines that have near-identical specifications, based around Intels N270 Atom CPU, 945GSE chipset, 10.1in screen, and 160GB mechanical hard drive. MSIs Wind, LGs X110, A...

the Samsung N310 is a quality netbook that ticks all the right checkboxes apart from price. It competes against similar-specification models but £100 dearer, and however nice it looks, its simply not worth that right now. It becomes a winner when the...
