Is this fashion statement worth the $800?...

Solid call quality, Attractive design...

Expensive, No expandable memory, Short battery life...

Its impossible to review the Nokia 8600 Luna without first mentioning its $800 price tag. Thats eight LG Chocolates or two iPhones, and both beat the 8600 Luna in terms of style and functionality. While there is something to be said for the 8600 Luna...

Nokias top of the line fashion phone is the 8600 Luna, a device that makes use of smooth lines and real tinted glass to set itself apart from the pack. Our man Jin takes the Luna out for a spin to see how it handles in this hands-on review.

Beautiful, solid build quality, scratch resistant...

Weak UI, poor memory, average camera...

The Nokia 8600 Luna is definitely a breathtaking piece of art. The tempered smoked glass, resistant to scratches and smudges, is truly something that you wish to see on all phones. Build quality is definitely second to none, although it would have been...

The story of Nokia’s hi-end products begins way back in 1998 when Nokia 8810 hit the shelf and ended up as a best selling product enjoying vast popularity in spite of its high cost. This very handset started a whole new chapter in company’s history an...

Almost a year and a half after the original 8800 model first appeared, in September ‘2006 the company presented its successor christened 8800 Sirocco. What stands for such a long gap between the two? The deal is easy to explain: 8800 maintained such...

The 8600 Luna is a stunning handset in some respects. Simple clean lines define the design and it feels a million dollars in the hand. Just as well, as it costs a heck of a lot SIM free - £549 from Nokia's online store or, at the time of writing, £424.95...

Along with the 8800 Sirocco, the Luna is one of the finest-built handsets around with a supreme slider action.

Limited memory hampers an otherwise great-sounding music player, while camera quality is average.

Another case of style over substance, but when the 8600 Luna has this much class, well forgive its feature flaws.

The Nokia 8600 Luna is keen to disarm and seduce. The unconventional materials used, the creative design, the rather practical set of accessories are hard enough to resist. Plus, the Luna is so largely unaffordable that its tempting. This pretty much sums...

Excellent design ,Magnificent screen ,Good standby battery life...

No 3G capability ,No Wi-Fi capability ,Terrible battery life ,No expandable memory ,Camera quality could be better ,Expensive...

Despite its obvious good looks, the Nokia 8600 Luna is far too expensive and far too devoid of features to be considered as a worthy investment. It really is a shame that such a fancy looking phone can be assembled with so many glaring deficiencies.
