Palm Treo 700wx Review One of the great things about being a cutting edge Mobile Technology reviewer is that I get to play with all the latest Smart phones. It is no secret that I fell in love with the Motorola Q - but, alas, I am not a Verizon custom...

Great design, Easy to use, Fast EvDO connectivity, compatible with thousands of programs out of the box, Windows OS, DUN supported, Push Email capable out of the box, very cool...

No included case, screen protector or car charger.

This is a great device. Is it perfect? No. Is it the best Smart phone you can get? Nope - not even close. The 700p ran faster and had better access to the Power Vision features and was easier for text messaging and email. The touch screen is a great...

Ive been reviewing Microsoft Mobile devices since 1996. Our own Editor-in-Cheif emeritus, Jared Miniman used to run a site called the WindowsCE Lair, that was eventually picked up by PDATucows. I wrote for Jared there between 1996 and 1999, and the...

Treo form factor, 64MB of RAM, EVDO modem without an extra fee or the need for special dongle, AKU2.x/MS Direct Push out of the box...

Weak Sprint signal strength (though your experience may be better than mine), Poor push email performance (due to weak signal; but again, your experience may be better than mine), Flakey Sprint connection manager vs. XP Pro hibernation issues...

The ONLY thing that I didnt like about the 700wx was Sprints performance as a wireless carrier. Their signal strength issues really take away from the performance of this device; and I am really disappointed. When I was offered this review, I bounce...

Sprint finally gets its own version of the Windows Mobile-powered Treo. Does the 700wx measure up to Verizon Wireless 700w -- or to the Palm OS-based 700p, for that matter? Philip Berne delivers his verdict.

Outlook on Windows Mobile outclasses similar applications on competing devices, even the 700p. Dial-up networking is a great feature that every 3G smartphone should provide, and the Windows version of the Treo is quick and easy to use.

Web browsing and other multimedia apps need to be improved, especially considering the 700wxs 3G connectivity. Less reliance on the stylus for advanced applications (such as document viewing) would make for better on-the-go use.

More memory and speedy dial-up networking make the Treo 700wx an obvious choice over the older 700w, but the decision isnt as clear-cut when it comes to other business phones. If you require full Windows compatibility, this is a strong device, and P...

Palms new Treo 700wx is the most phone-friendly Pocket PC device Ive seen. But although it addresses one of the major flaws of the previous Treo 700w—its limited memory—the 700wx is by no means the leader among e-mail or multimedia handhelds...

More memory than Treo 700w. Easy to dial the phone and use in one hand.

Low-res, cramped screen. Expensive. Some software instability.

The 700wx is a small upgrade to the 700w, but its neither as easy to use as the Treo 700p nor as powerful as other competing Windows Mobile devices...

The Palm Treo 700wx gives Sprint users a Windows Mobile version of the fabled Treo platform. It also comes with a few significant improvements over the 700w for Verizon, such as a much-needed upgrade to 64MB of RAM (up from the 700w’s 32MB), and the...
