Though it looks like an iPod Nano, Sandisks Sansa e260 costs less than Apples 4GB equivalent. Unlike the Nano, it can play back video files on its colour screen; its software makes it easy to convert and transfer them. The e260 isnt as easy to us...

Looking very similar to an iPod nano, the Sansa has a shiny black finish, 1.8in colour screen, 2GB, 4GB or 6GB of flash memory and near-Apple-identical menu navigation. Size is also similar at 43 x 88 x 13mm. Unlike an iPod, however, it supports all...

Another day, another iPod imitator. This time around its SanDisk doing the honours, serving up a shiny black audio- and video-player complete with 4GB capacity and control wheel. How original. For the most part, the Sansa is sturdily put together...

The Sansa e260 is a good-looking device that promises much and delivers slightly less, with fiddly controls and a slightly confusing interface. This is by no means a disaster, however, and the price and battery life are appealing. David Price...

Lackluster DRM software; not as sleek as an iPod Nano.

A worthy contender for your dollar. Consider the SanDisk e200 line if youre in the market for a Nano, but are willing to sacrifice a bit of cool-factor for a whole lot of extra features!...

How does the Sansa e260 (and its siblings in the e200 range) fare in the Value-for-Money stakes? Very well, I would say. There’s isn’t a lot we didn’t like. Sure, a faster start-up time might be one of them, but even that is relative. Th...

Like Samsung, it’s clear that SanDisk has taken more than a few aesthetic cues from the nano with the Sansa e260. However, this player matches Apple blow for blow, even though it’s more than a full ounce heavier (2.6 ounces). Coming in 2GB, 4G...

The SanDisk Sansa e260 is a seriously sexy MP3 player that represents a very strong effort on SanDisks part to compete in the premium market against Apples iPod nano. The e260 is a 4GB flash-based player (also available in 2GB and industry-first 6G...

Removable battery. Sturdy shell. Very good audio quality. Easy to use. Expandable storage. Extensive feature set. Strong FM tuner.

Playlisting features arent great. Buttons are slightly difficult to press. No lossless support. Loading music in USB mode causes erratic behavior. Requires separate apps for loading music and visual media.

The e260 has an excellent combination of features, style, ease of use, and price, but the overall user experience still isnt quite as smooth as that of the iPod nano...
