THQ are back with another completely mad update to the WWE Smackdown series...

The madness is well captured. Over 70 wrestlers. Some hilarious moments.

Some modes aren’t as good as they should be. Bit laggy in multiplayer. If you have last years title, you may not get value for money.

Another year another excuse to don my spandex and yell things like "Suck It" and "If you smellllll what the Rage is Cooking" at the TV. No, not time for me to renew the pills - it's WWE Smackdown VS Raw 2011.THQ have churned out yet another update to...

WWE Universe is brilliant. Hell in a Cell match type is near perfect.

Few clipping issues. Online can be very laggy.

Smackdown vs Raw 2011 has a lot to live up to, given the 2010 version's quality; yet THQ has somehow managed to surpass it, with a bunch of new features and enhancements. The two major modes in SVR2011 are the new mode, WWE Universe, and Road to Wrestl...

Let’s be entirely honest from the start, there are really only going to be two kinds of people reading this review. The first will be the curious looking for a fun themed brawler and the second will be hardcore wrestling fans. We’re sorry to have to sa...

It’s hard to deny, this is one of the most polished versions of the SVR franchise. But it still has too many of the failings of previous games, despite some great new ideas on the mode front. Quite simply put, this is a far too much of the same old thi...

Sweaty, muscular men in Speedos rolling around on the floor and getting way too close to each others groins are one of the main reasons why I stopped watching wrestling during my adolescent years, and consequently stopped playing the games too. Yet so...

Hugely customizable game and outstanding dedication made towards the community. Game is brought together much better and is very flexible to your play style. You can essentially make your own wrestling game!...

Slight problems in fighting physics and huge problems in certain areas of animation. Several interruptive server and lag issues during online play. The series needs to drop its oldgen engine in order to excel.

Sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you feel like smashing a chair over someone's back. SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 is a relatively safe and virtual way to vent some aggression, and not just with chairs. Fire extinguishers, cars, sledge hammers, fi...

I gotta tell you, the McMahon's are marketing genius'. Well, most of the time. The XFL was a bad idea. But professional wrestling has been on the cutting edge with pay-per-view and Hulkamania and larger than life characters. WWE has been very successfu...

The Smackdown vs. Raw series has been around for more than a few years now, and like a time-worn WWE superstar, it is starting to get creaky in its old age. The core mechanics that fuel the entertaining action still set the stage for some great fights...

Tons of ways to set up matches, Extensive creation tools, Plenty of powerful moves.

Problematic collision detection, Excitementdampening sound effects, Online modes, including the new Royal Rumble, hindered by lag and other issues.

Smackdown vs. Raw is showing its age, but there's plenty of fight left in this old superstar...

THQ continues to steer the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw franchise in notable and exciting new directions with each yearly installment. Boasting upgraded customization features and an expansive WWE Universe mode, SvR 2011 is no exception to the rule, serving a...

WWE Universe makes the game come alive; Road to Wrestlemania's stories are as good or better than anything on WWE programming; nearly everything is customizable this year including match types; online play allows for more options than ever highlighted by a 12 player Royal Rumble.

The grappling system is restrictive; Road to Wrestlemania's backstage exploration and leveling system feel tacked on and empty.

I believe the saying goes: "Another year, another Smackdown." Truly, this 365 is no different as it gives us WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011, the latest in THQ's long line of pro wrestling video games. Last year, I thought the game breathed a newfound life...

In the end, there are two main annoyances that stand out to me with WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 and make it just a bit less awesome than last year's effort -- the frustrating grapples and the rough Road to WrestleMania backstage stuff. Not being able to...
